05/0/7/04 I was practically a kid when I did these. Who's idea was it to let a child play with an exacto blade XD
This is pretty amazing, especially considering how long ago you made it. I love finding old art of mine, especially from childhood
Actually ever since I posted this I am now getting responses from family member wanting me to teach them how to do this kind of paper craft art. Its call Scherenschnitte. You can use exacto knives or special scissors. You know the scissors that sometimes come with pedi kits? Those are practically the same scissors you can use for this type of project. It makes me laugh sometimes when I was working at Joanns I started noticing certain tools are not just a one traid thing, but they get called many different things in different professional or crafts. Like when I was taking jewelry in college I found out a lot of the dental tools I learned to use in Dental Assisting were used in jewelry design for carving, soldering, and sanding. Crazy!
Thank you! You have such a pretty face. I love you avatar! I think you should keep it! I love that hair too! So jeally. My son has red hair like his uncle. I got Auburn which looks more brown now, but if I go out a lot it'll bleach a bit with red highlights. Red heads are so cool. No fair!!! XD
Ahhh rainbow pineapple! I love it!!!
I like how all these turned out, even considering your skill level at the time. As far as playing with exacto knives; nothing ventured, nothing gained eh?
